Template Change~

Having been pissed off by our old template and the way the original coder has done a rather cryptic and unadaptive sheet, I've impulsively decided to switch to another template.

I've worked on a dummy blog til it was stable, and most necessary tweaks have been made, like integrating our navigation, spoiler tags, styling etc.
Now the tabs finally have their own, separate background rather than being stubborn bitches relying on the global body background due to meh code.
This means the Corpse Party background is exactly how I wanted it to be from now on, and I've set the flags for more theme-based stylings.

Of course, there'll be a few errors I bet, so if you find any, please report them. A comment below helps already =)

Now the next thing Alkaid and I should think about are name and actual banner to finally get this thing rolling in a larger extend.... oh well, any helpful tips are appreciated as well.

So long, and thanks for all the fish~

Tales of the Heroes Twin Brave [Eternia]

Namco Bandai's official site of Tales of the Heroes Twin Brave got another update!

Ready for the Corpse Party?

Well I sure am, so LLG goes into Corpse Party mode!
To get you into a similar mood, here's the Intro of Corpse Party for the Playstation Portable, recorded by your's truly.

This gem has just been released in the west for the first time, even though the original has been around in Japan since 1996 and went through many iterations and adaptions. Thankfully our dear saviors of portable gaming, XSEED, decided it was time to bring the PSP Version of the game over.

If you've enjoyed reading Visual Novels like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni or Umineko and others, please do yourselves a favor and buy this game from the Playstation Network. It's only $19.99 and will accompany you right into the PSVita-era.
And who knows? A sequel has been released in Japan last September...

A rather elaborate story about this decision and how it went can be found on Siliconera:
How Corpse Party Got An Invitation For Localization
How Xseed Localized Corpse Party (And Kept It Scary)
I advise reading these great posts to get an insight in just how much effort and love for horror went into this game!

So, once again XSEED saves us from a wasteland of bad sports game ports on our PSPs and delivers high-quality horror. Earlier this year they delivered the first part of the Trails in the Sky saga from the Legend of Heroes series, which has been a fan-favorite ever since (believe me, even Alkaid's weird friend fell in love with Trails!).

Thus I publicly want to thank XSEED once more, in a blogpost, for being this damn awesome! Please keep up the great work, Twitter-fun and feed our hunger for more gems the western audience would otherwise never see.

Thank you, XSEED. We're gonna join the Corpse Party!

ToX - Wishes You A Merry Christmas! [updated]

Or more like merry internal and external bleeding!

Namco Bandai made it a habit since Tales of Vesperia to lure us in with delicious treasure and pricy DLC, why not continue this year as well?
This time with ... christmas costumes of Milla Maxwell and Co.
They are one sight to behold so better brace yourselves for that fanservice ride!

おかえりなさいHyperdimension Neptunia Mk II

Welcome back Nepu Nepu! and "Brace yourselves!" gamers!

Thanks to N(ippon)I(chi)S(oftware) America -in short NISA - We're able to experience yet another spectacular tale of Gameindustri!

This all new game will start at the end of Hyperdimension Neptunia right where our four goddesses fought against the fallen one.
What if Neptune and the others couldn't do what they were meant to do? What if that witch toppled them in battle despite them trying their hardest? Utter defeat was at hand and no one could save our beloved gaming ground. That all despite the fact that even the CPUs themselves layed their grudges and thuse the console wars aside, to fight this mighty evil...
An alternative setting for a completely alternative and unique tale!

The Last Story - European Debut Trailer!

Can't wait for that?
Well understandable Nintendo's little unfair treatment for the United States continues. Wikipedia already hints that there might even be an Australian version for the game, though the release has yet to be announced.
Here's the long awaited European trailer, with japanese dub, that might even be in the game or not. Another thing that has yet to be confirmed for us.

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai (3DS)

News Scans of the new rhythm game for 3DS, since it is Japan only for now and the 3DS is region locked once more (thank you very much Nintendo)even if we would import it, it would be useless.

Assassin's Creed Revelations -Review-

"Nothing is true, everything is permitted"

With those rather cryptic words everybody who played the first three games and the spin-offs should know what it's about. Another round, no maybe the last one for Ezio Auditore and Altair Ibn La Ahad has has begun.
So only one question remains, are you all willing to follow the Creed this time or will it bore you to hell to follow those footsteps with pride?
